Toe Deformities

Toe Deformity Treatment

There are many toe deformities, from unsightly hammertoes with corns to toes that are excessively short, which can cause problems. Generally, deformities that don’t cause pain or difficulty with shoes and activity aren’t a worry. If a toe deformity is causing issues with life, there are several treatment options. In some people, simply cushioning the area with a silicone toe pad can provide sufficient relief to return to normal. Often, however, surgery may be required to correct the underlying deformity and return the toes back to a normal position.

Fort Worth Foot & Ankle practice the latest in minimally invasive techniques that allow patients to get back to normal quickly, and often allows a return to normal shoes and activities in as little as two weeks.
